Beach
Dawn Beach is located just across the bay. Free taxi-boat service to and from the beach is provided for hotel guests - it takes just a couple of minutes to get there. Due to the extensive offshore reef, On calm days it's great for snorkeling and on windy days there is a nice surf break that is fun for body surfing. Also there is a sandy area in front of the hotel along the seaside boardwalk with some tikis that is private for hotel guests. (Presently being refurbished to include a sunning deck and a floating platform)
Swimming Pool
The glass wall of the fresh water swimming pool designates the French/Dutch border. The lounge chairs on the pool's deck are a great place to relax, listen to the waves lapping along the shore, watch the pelicans and seagulls diving and the yachts coming in and out of the bay. Here you can enjoy a swim, sip on your favorite cocktail, view the neighboring islands on the horizon while being refreshed by the ocean breeze.
The Reception
The Reception is open from 7:00AM to 11:00PM. Do not hesitate to call our Front Desk for any information; we are here to help you. All of the staff at Captain Oliver's sincerely want you to truly enjoy your vacation. The goal is for you to have fun and feel so comfortable, relaxed and rejuvenated that you'll want to come back again and again.
Scuba Dive Shop
Located on Captain Oliver's Marina is the Scuba Diving Center. Here you can rent or buy top-of-the-line scuba diving gear or also purchase marine equipment and supplies. The Scuba shop stocks Mares, Scubapro / Uwatec, Suunto, Sherwood, Dacor, SeaQuest, Princeton Tec and many other brands at very competitive prices. Ferry to St. Barth's
The Voyager provides ferry boat service between Captain Oliver's Marina and St. Barths. Discover why more than 1 million passengers have chosen the Voyager since 1995. The aluminum hull and the size of the boats have been specifically designed for better speed on the sea while providing the best comfort possible. Internet Services are available at the Lobby of Captain Oliver's Hotel.
Beauty Salon
The beauty salon is located across from the reception, below the Marina view accommodations. In-room massages are also available.
Activity Desk
The Activities Desk is located on the Marina and is open from 8:00AM - 11:00AM and 4:00PM - 7:00PM. Arrangement can be made for the Voyager Ferry to St. Barths, Full-Day or Half-Day sailing charter, Deep Sea fishing, horseback riding, St. Martin Park, the Butterfly Farm and much more.
La Boutique
La Boutique is located at the entrance of Captain Oliver's Restaurant. It's just a small little place where a variety of Captain Oliver T-shirts, caps, shirts, tank tops, and such are available if you wish to purchase something as a souvenir of your vacation.
Dinghy Dock Shop
The Dinghy Dock Shop is located on the marina and is open from 11:00AM to 3:00PM and 5:00PM to 9:00PM. The shop features Tagua carvings; Tagua nuf or vegetable ivory is a seed from a tropical palm tree (Phytalephas Macocapa). This seed when ripe becomes extremely hard. Once carved it looks like ivory. Each handmade item is a unique piece. Also they feature Jowellers Larimor Stones, watches, hats, spices and hot sauces from Guadeloupe, clothes and shoes from India, t-shirts, sunglasses and paintings from Haiti.
Conference Room
The Conference Room is located across from the hotel reception and is free of charge for groups of 12 or more staying at Captain Oliver's Hotel. The seating capacity is a maximum of 40 persons theater style or 25 persons classroom style. Audio-video equipment is available at a nominal charge.
Reservations are required and should be made a minimum of 72 hours in advance. For more information and reservations, contact the management of Captain Oliver's Hotel.
Room Service
Room Service is available by calling Captain Oliver's Restaurant; simply dial 450 from your room. A continental breakfast can be delivered to your room between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00a.m. Captain Oliver's Restaurant's lunch menu is available between Noon and 2:30p.m.; the dinner menu is available between 6:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Harel Yacht Broker
